Moffitt Mechanical is a customer service oriented Mechanical Contractor
focusing on the Industrial and high-end Commercial markets by providing General
Contractors and Facility Owners with safe, high quality mechanical
installations. Since our contracting roots began in 1970, Moffitt Corporation
has grown, and not only services the local Florida and Georgia markets, but
performs mechanical contracting work in 40 states around the country. We have
experience in all types of Industrial applications including Automotive, Power,
Metals, Paper, Cement, Brick, Gypsum, Waste Water and General Manufacturing.
Our team’s Commercial experience includes Hospitals, Multi-story Office
Buildings, Distribution Centers, Hotel and Convention Centers, Assisted Living
Facilities and Nursing Homes, Municipal and Military Buildings.
Ben Lovingood is the VP of Business Development for Moffitt Mechanical and
has more than 30 years experience in the development, management and
installation of industrial and commercial projects. He is a member of ASHRAE,
A.S.M.E. and TAPPI. Ben is licensed in Florida and North Carolina as a Master
Mechanical Contractor. Ben’s background includes more than 10 years of
experience in the field with Fluor Daniel as a Field Engineer and Area
Superintendent for the pipefitting, mill wright, sheet metal and boilermaker
trades. Ben has an additional 20 years of experience in estimating, project
management and business development.

John Moffitt is the President of Moffitt Mechanical and has more than 15 years
experience in the mechanical industry. John holds a Bachelor of Science degree
in Management from Purdue University and his experience includes field
supervision, estimating, system design, project management and business
development. His list of accomplishments include over 30 successful mechanical
installations for new Power Generation facilities. John is a Master Mechanical
Contractor, Master HVAC Contractor or Licensed General Contractor in 13 states.
Moffitt Mechanical is capable of installing Division 15
specialties including process pipe, gas and hydronic pipe, DX and chiller
systems, sheet metal, ventilation equipment, heating equipment, controls and
building automation systems. We are pleased to work with customers in the
conceptual design and budgeting phase of projects.
Moffitt Corporation is licensed or has the authority to
