Moffitt upblast discharge power roof ventilator dampers open automatically when fan is started. The high velocity exhaust airstream holds the dampers open preventing the entrance of rain or snow. When the motor power is cut, the dampers close to provide a complete weather seal. A rain runoff trough is located below the damper shafts to provide drainage to the outside resulting in a weather-tight construction.

The Moffitt Model 3700 Upblast Exhaust Fan is designed to operate reliably in hostile environments where motor and drive need protection due to high-temperatures or contaminated air. Suitable for air temperatures up to 200°. Moffitt Upblast discharge power roof ventilator dampers open automatically when the fan is started. Coyote Series - High Temperature Exhaust Fan

The 3700-HT Roof Exhauster is designed for removing smoke and fumes during a fire emergency. They are engineered to meet the high temperature requirements of the Uniform Fire Code of 1000°F for a minimum of 15 minutes, and the IRI requirements of 500°F for a minimum of 4 hours. Temperature ratings were tested in accordance with UL smoke control systems standards. The test conclusively proved that the 3700-HT could be operated at these elevated temperatures without failure.
The 3700-HT is a remote belt driven high velocity tube axial upblast roof exhauster which will efficiently remove dangerous smoke, fumes and contaminated air quickly from facility interiors. Its high velocity output pushes exhaust air away from the building, reducing the change of contaminated air reentering the airstream. In addition, high temperature exhaust air will not contribute to roof or roof mounted equipment damage.
